ANDY WILSHER FUNERAL FUND

Donation protected
To many Andy Wilsher was known as the fox man, he was a selfless man that dedicated his life to his 2 children Jamie and Gemma and to his foxes, he would often go out after dark and feed his foxes with what little money he had, he gave so much to what he loved and sadly there will never be another like him.

Andy was also one of the founding members of London Athletic football club (LAFC). Andy at his time with the club served many different roles as coach, manager, player recruitment officer. Andy his nephew and close friend Dean
LAFC’s chairman, would often get to football on Saturdays and Sundays to check pitches were safe and set up all the nets ect to make sure everything was set up ready for coaches and players alike. Andy’s passing is devastating to the club and will leave a massive hole in the club and the every day running of it. Andy didn’t want the prestige limelight, or attention or gratitude. He would do it because he wanted the kids to feel special we will miss him dearly. If there is anyone from the club two can spare some cash to go towards this it will be helping his family two ex LAFC players who are in desperate need of help and support.

Andy sadly pass away on the 24th January 2023. He leaves behind his 2 children, he left home that day thinking he would return but sadly didn’t. He was truly an amazing man that cared so much for others, he will be missed by us all.

I am raising funds to go towards his funeral to give him a truly good send off, a fitting one that he deserves after giving so much to our community over decades. I am also raising money for his 2 children that he cares for, he was a single parent and was so devoted to his kids, it is a massive loss to them and all money left over will go toward them to help them
with rent and bills, and they really need our help to get them through this terrible time.

It is truly a sad moment for our family, Andy was my uncle and was such an amazing man that cared about everything. I hope to write to Hertfordshire council regarding his tremendous charity work towards the foxing community.

Please can I ask that you donate whatever little you have toward his funeral, we truly appreciate what ever little you can afford. And I know times are hard for us all right now but we really do need your help.

On behalf of our family we send lots of love at this sad time
