Aubrey's Mission: Education for Uganda's Kids
Donation protected
My name is Aubrey and I am fundraising to provide one year of tuition, room and board, books, and sanitary pads for 55 primary school-aged children in Eastern Uganda through the Hope for Tomorrow project of the Ziingo Women and Children’s Initiative . Ziingo Women and Children Initiative is a non-profit organization based in rural Eastern Uganda.
Ziingo’s mission is to empower and uplift women and children in Eastern Uganda through education and economic activities. We focus on providing essential care and support to vulnerable children and orphans, aiming to collectively rebuild lives and improve livelihoods in rural communities.
The Hope for Tomorrow project started in 2020. The project is targeting 55 (35 girls and 20 boys) who are economically underprivileged, disabled, and HIV/AIDS-affected children, with a predominant focus on girls, who are enrolled in primary schools across three districts of Sironko, Mbale and Manafwa in Eastern Uganda. These children often face significant barriers to accessing quality education due to financial constraints, disability, or health-related challenges.

I became a Ziingo board member in May 2024 because education is more than a doorway to opportunity. For many students in the Hope for Tomorrow program, school provides them stability, safety, and nourishment. Thank you for considering giving to this fundraiser.
