DANA Valencia - Ayúdame a recuperar mi hogar ♥️

Hola, mi nombre es Paula y soy de Valencia, España. Como tantos otros he perdido mi hogar durante las inundaciones de la DANA. Vivía en mi furgoneta que en el momento de las inundaciones se encontraba en Castellar, una de las poblaciones afectadas.

Hace un año y medio campericé mi furgoneta para convertirla en mi vivienda, proyecto de vida y lugar de trabajo. Sin embargo, no puedo acceder a las ayudas por vivienda o bienes porque mi casa a efectos de las ayudas es solo un vehículo, no lo consideran una vivienda aunque sea mi residencia habitual, tenga todo lo que tiene una vivienda (cocina, baño, ducha con agua caliente, cama y muebles..) y tuviera todas mis cosas dentro (objetos personales, equipo tecnológico que uso en mi trabajo, etc.).

La camper se inundó hasta el techo por fuera y unos dos tercios por dentro. Todavía no sé qué se podrá salvar pues el barro ha llegado por detrás de las paredes, por debajo del suelo y a cada pequeño rincón afectando todo el sistema mecánico y eléctrico del vehículo. En cuanto a la camperización es toda de madera y con la humedad se está viendo también muy afectada, por lo que tendría que rehacerla casi toda.

Pido ayuda a mi comunidad, amigos, familia y a cualquier persona que me lea y quiera aportar su granito de arena. Cada donación por pequeña que sea me ayuda mucho a recuperar este hogar que el agua y el barro se han llevado consigo.

A pesar de la tristeza hay una llama en mi encendida: la esperanza de que del barro renaceremos unidos y con más fuerza.

My name is Paula and I am from Valencia, Spain. Like so many others I have lost my home during the DANA floods. I lived in my van, which at the time of the floods was in Castellar, one of the affected towns.

A year and a half ago I converted my van into a campervan. Since then it has been my home, workplace and life project. However, I cannot access the aids destined for goods and homes damaged during the floods, because my home is considered just a vehicle. Even if it is my habitual residence, it has everything that a home has (kitchen, bathroom, shower with hot water, bed and furniture...) and had all my things inside (personal objects, technological equipment that I use in my work, etc.)

My campervan was flooded up to the roof on the outside and about two-thirds inside. I still don't know what can be saved because the mud has reached behind the walls, under the floor and into every little corner, affecting the entire mechanical and electrical system of the vehicle. As for the camperization, it is all made of wood and with the humidity it is also being really damaged, so I would have to redo a big part of it.

I ask for help from my community, friends, family and anyone who reads my story and wants to contribute. Every donation, no matter how small, helps me a lot to recover this home that the water and mud have taken with it.

Despite the sadness, there is a flame burning in me: the hope that from the mud we will be reborn stronger.
