Bedford Fire victims, Karina & Adelson

This morning, I received a call from my sister who was in tears- absolutely devastated, that her apartment complex was on fire. The explosion was on the floor above her to the right. From the time of the explosion to the time she got out she managed to grab a bag of her laptop and car keys and left the place she called home with just her PJ's on and a pair of flip-flops. Her husband and her have lost, literally everything. They are currently in a hotel until they can be placed in a home.

 

I know she's not going to want to hear this but my sister managed to keep a straight head on her shoulders during that time of crisis. She managed to bang on all the doors on her floor on the way out and even rescued her neighbors dog. We are so thankful that Adelson and her were safe, with minor injuries.

 

My family and I are asking that anyone who is willing to donate, please do. My sister should be worrying about finishing her final thesis, not if she will have a place to live or what all has been lost.
