HOSPITAL RADIO STAFFORD NEW YEARS 24HR MARATHON
This New Years Eve, Hospital Radio Stafford brings the party into your home for a 24 hour Non-Stop show presented by HRS “Into the Night’s” presenter, Ben Hodgson.
For 24 hours, Ben will be presenting non-stop to raise money for HRS and keeping you company through this socially-distanced New Years Eve.
The only rules—No more than two songs in succession! So you can make sure that a quick forty winks isn’t snuck in and Ben is still wide awake!
Throughout the show, you can request your party anthem, favourite song or a dedication for that important someone by calling 01785 223456 or by messaging us on Facebook or Twitter.
Hospital Radio Stafford is entirely staffed by volunteers and is a registered charity. We are not-for-profit organisation and solely rely on fundraising to meet our operational needs. We provide an essential service and comfort to patients and staff during their time in hospital.
As well as the challenges 2020 has brought us all on a personal level, HRS has been unable to raise funds using conventional methods like collections and at social functions. Many Hospital and Community radio stations have sadly closed over the course of the year, this sponsored show will help raise vital funds to protect and improve our service into 2021 and the future.
Hospital Radio Stafford provides an invaluable service to all patients and visitors during their time in hospital. Over the course of 2020 where personal visits to patients have been restricted due to Covid-19, HRS has remained a constant presence with continual broadcasting. Your support will ensure that we can continue to be that comfort and support during their stay.
