Ben's Tiny Home Eagle Project

Tax deductible
I began my Scouting adventure at the age of 11 and am now a Life Scout having completed 22 merit badges, have held several leadership positions and have been active with our troop (166) and its activities.  I am working toward earning the highest and most honored rank in Scouting, that of Eagle Scout.

To earn Eagle rank I must plan, develop, and provide leadership to others in a service project that is helpful to the community. I have chosen to build a tiny home for the Low Income Housing Institute of Seattle (LIHI).  This project will benefit people in need of temporary housing until they have the opportunity to get into permanent housing.

It is a big project that will require many hours of volunteer labor and approximately $2,700 in materials.  As part of my project, I am requesting donations to offset the cost of the materials. No amount is too small, and in the unlikely event any funds remain after the project is finished, they will go directly to the recipient of the project.

I’m also in need of volunteers and would be grateful to have your support. Please visit this website to sign up for days/hours that work with your schedule.

Thanks so much for your consideration in supporting my project by volunteering or donating.

* Note: LIHI is a non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible.  You will receive a receipt in the mail.
