Brian Satterfield ~ Support for B.Satt

July 4, 2023 UPDATE: We are devastated to report that early Monday morning, Brian Satterfield passed away at Cooper Hospital. Brian showed some improvement since March but had an unexpected set back. There are simply no words that can encapsulate the grief and shock that his sudden passing has brought to his family and friends. He really was the best of all of us; he had unparalleled knowledge of world events, endless humor, quick wit, and the smoothest dance moves. To lose him is just heartbreaking. Everyone has been so generous in the past and we hope to provide Dawn a little more financial support for the upcoming weeks as she buries her beloved husband beside their angel, little BriBri. Thank you.
Hi, I am Kim (Lockbaum) Briles and I am working alongside our Glassboro crew (Figueroa/Parlett, D'Amico, Libero/Romano, Carulli) to organize financial support for Brian & Dawn Satterfield. On Sunday, March 5th, Brian suffered an aortic aneurysm while driving his daughter Emily to her cheer competition in Wildwood. Through the grace of God, Emily was able to safely pull the car over and, along with the help of a stranger (angel) driving behind them, get Brian to the closest hospital, Cape May Regional Medical Center. He was airlifted from Cape May to Cooper Hospital and survived his emergency eight-hour open heart surgery. Brian is now confronted with the challenge of physical and cognitive rehabilitation. He is the sole breadwinner for his family and will require weeks, perhaps months, of rehabilitation. We would like to take away one worry from Brian and Dawn, bills. Brian is loved by many and has spent a good part of his life in the service of others. Whether he is working at Scott's Barber Shop in Clayton or coaching & announcing baseball for Glassboro Little League, Brian has the gift of laughter and always looks to share that with others. When you hear his nickname "BSatt" you instinctively smile because that is who and what Brian is... PURE JOY. Please help us provide much-needed financial relief to our friend "BSatt" and make sure he can continue to light this world with his quick wit and that handsome smile. The Boro has your back BSatt.
