City Bistro Employee Relief
Hoboken friends and family,
I have been part of the City Bistro family for 8 years—oddly enough, I started just a few weeks before Hurricane Sandy hit. This is the second catastrophe for Hoboken hospitality that I’ve seen from the inside. Unfortunately, this time around, the timeline for a reopen is a lot less clear.
We understand that this is a difficult time for our community as a whole. It is very difficult and humbling to ask for help from from our friends and neighbors who are likely also struggling.
Our servers, bartenders and barbacks don’t have the option of working from home. When they don’t go into work, they don’t make money. Without knowing when we will be able to reopen our doors and regain the joy of serving our community, we are humbly asking for help.
All donations will be split amongst our tipped staff which is made up of wonderful bartenders, servers and barbacks—the faces you have come to know over the years.
We thank you for considering helping our team and we truly look forward to reopening our doors and having you back in our home. ❤️
