Cruciate Repair TPLO surgery for Georgie Porgie

George got his leash tangled around his leg last night causing him to tear his cruciate ligament. We spent all morning at the vet and I was quoted between 6 and 9 thousand dollars for surgery to repair it. We are waiting on a call for a consult and hopefully a surgery date to come shortly behind that. I’m also going to call every vet east of gander for hopefully a better quote this coming week. He’s been my very best friend for the past 8 years….I don’t have children - I have him. They think he’s got a few good years left in him yet and to me he is worth every single penny of that plus more. I’m not one to ask for help ever (anyone who knows me knows this - stubborn as they come and will usually figure it out myself) but this is a lot of money to come up with on our own with the cost of everything as it is. Every cent raised will help lighten the load and I will be forever thankful to anyone who helps make this surgery possible for my sweet boy to keep living his best life ❤️
