Donate for Brandon's Outdoor Freedom

Brandon Smith was in a life-changing car accident in 2008. He sustained a Severe Traumatic Brain Injury and his life was changed in an instant. After 2 months in a coma, he emerged and began the hard work of relearning everyday tasks. Prior to the accident, Brandon was a skilled athlete. He enjoyed breakdancing, snowboarding, and anything outdoors. He now uses a wheelchair to move through the world and is unable to enjoy many of the outdoor activities that he once loved.

My name is Kris and I am Brandon's Legal Guardian and family. Together with my immediate family, we are always looking for ways to bring joy into Brandon's life. We are raising money for a wheelchair that can be used for racing and can be attached to a bicycle so that Brandon can enjoy more time outside. If you would like to donate to this dream, we would be so appreciative! Brandon has taught us every day that life does not end when tragedy happens. Instead, we have to get creative and find ways to keep on living even when it doesn't look the way we had always planned.
