Help 97 year old Dorothy & community rebuild after fire loss

Donation protected

My name is Nikki Carney from Pasadena CA. Im creating this fund in support of my grandmother, Dorothy Frank of Altadena, CA. She lost pretty much everything she owns in the Eaton Canyon fires, including her home she built and worked hard for with my late grandfather over 50 years ago. The Altadena sheriffs carried her out of the home with the clothes on her back and a few pictures of my grandfather she always keeps in the bed with her.

This home was special to many of us, a second home to many and it holds a special place in my heart because I was born and raised in that house until I was 5 years old but even after I was there every day after school with my grandparents. Me and several of my cousins spent countless summers swimming and enjoying family time together in that house and it’s truly heartbreaking and unbelievable to see our family home in ashes on the ground. A place we thought we would have for generations to come and continue sharing family memories gone forever in a matter of moments.

These donations would be used to help with relocation and any needs she may have. Her insurance has not been any help as of yet and it’s been over a week. My company has also been taking a portion from sales to support her and people in the community that really have emergency needs and have suffered from this tragic incident. If you cannot donate, please share this story or support the business to help us rebuild and spread love.
