Friendship Cafe

I have been a volunteer for Friendship Cafe in Nelson Lancashire for many years now and over this time I have seen the friendship cafe grow from strength to strength and help lots of people in so many different ways. Each week on a Friday night we provide a free home cooked meal to anybody who feels they could benefit from this. We pride ourselves in ensuring we are great ambassadors for our community and always try and help, support guide and sign post people to further help and support. We can be a pillar of support to somebody or be a pair of listening ears to somebody else. At the Friendship Café we ensure everybody is treated with the upmost sensitivity and ensure everybody is left full and happy. With this in mind I want to ensure we are still here for our community for many more years to come and for this reason I will be tackling the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge on Sunday 7th August 2022 – please support me where you can so that I can continue to provide vital local services to our community especially in a time of need and with the rate of inflation and price hikes we are all feeling at the moment.
