Fundraiser for sister Sanaa Alaoui Ismaili

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of Sister Sanaa Alaoui Ismaili which occurred on June 13, 2020. Beloved mother of 2 boys (Ismael and Zakaria ) and a girl (Mouna) and was married to Br. Ibrahim Mahir. 

Sanaa was born on 11/2/1972. She lived in the Old Medina in Rabat before settling in Minnesota in 1990 . She loved kids and enjoyed teaching them.  She taught at Al-Amal school as a preschool teacher. She also worked at Highview Middle School, then moved to HeadStart where she worked as an assistant director.

To support the family with the cost of burial expenses,  MACOOM (Moroccan-American Community Organization of Minnesota) is raising funds to help get Sanaa to her final destination and help alleviate the financial burden off her family so that they can grief their loss peacefully. 

Funeral arrangements will be communicated once the information is available to us.
