Fundraiser Mohammed Saleem - Ramadan Press-ups

Hi everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.

My name is Asif Saleem and on 04th October 2021, my life turned upside down when my father, Mohammed Saleem suffered a catastrophic brain haemorrhage. Despite his family being blessed with a few extra days with him in hospital as he fought, sadly he never recovered and on Friday 08th October he passed away with his loving family by his side, just how he would want it to be.

My dad was the most selfless, kindest and charitable person I have had the pleasure of meeting. As an accountant and pillar in the community, he was always thinking, giving and caring for others. Since he has passed, I have personally been blessed and humbled to hear stories of how he supported many of his clients, friends and family.

He had the purest and most gentle heart and was happiest when he was surrounded by his family and loved ones. He is massively missed by his friends, family and the community.

In honour of my father, I will be raising money for charity during the blessed month of Ramadan. I plan to complete 100 press-ups a day, all whilst fasting.

The proceeds I raise will go to building a well in Kenya, where my father was originally from.
