Help a Dedicated Teacher in Need

Rachel Thron is a beloved math teacher who is always supportive and gives her heart and soul to her students. She is now in a time of need for herself. Over the summer Rachel was diagnosed with breast cancer. Due to this diagnosis Rachel had to stop teaching summer school and move in to assistive living while she prepped for surgery and chemotherapy. Her two beloved dogs are being taken care of by friends at the moment.

This has brought on not only stress, but additional financial costs while she is on disability and continues to pay for her apartment. All funds raised will go towards her medical expenses, living, time off of work, care for her dogs, and new clothing that is needed after her mastectomy.

Rachel has shown up for so many students over her 11 years of teaching and we appreciate anyone who is able to show up for her during this time.
