Help Amber Replace Aerial Equipment
Donazione protetta
On the morning of Thursday, July 12, Adventure Mountain was struck by lightning and Amber's aerial shed caught fire. The structure and its contents are a total loss, and were not insured. In addition to personal items, the majority of Amber's aerial equipment was stored inside. Two sets of aerial silks, three aerial hoops, one corde lisse, a crash mat, portable dance floor, and dozens of pieces of professional aerial hardware were damaged in the fire. Personal items, furniture, appliances, clothing, and electronics were also lost. Although the fire department was called to my neighbor's house due to their alarm going off, the firefighters were unable to determine where the lightning strike had happened, and where the smoke they smelled was coming from. They were leaving, heading back to the station when the noticed my tiny home completely engulfed in flames. You can see the neighbor's house in the photo - they are so close it's hard to understand how this could happen.
In addition to financial donations, we are seeking physical help to clean up the site and restore power to the property. Restoring power is the most urgent matter, followed by replacing the aerial equipment used by Amber's students.
