Help an Aussie veteran

Hi, I’m Roz and I’m the mother in law to a struggling special forces veteran whose pension has been cut off for the past month and he is desperately in need of help to pay his bills. He has permanent disability from injuries sustained during service in Afghanistan and to be frank we are hurt and disgusted by the treatment he’s getting from the DVA. He already gave his body and his mental health to earn his pension and frankly it’s disturbing they think they have a single reason whatsoever to stop his rent money coming in. He can’t work ever again because of what he gave for his country. What do they bloody expect him to do??

I’ve been helping him pay his bills but my pockets are now empty.

He finds it very hard to reach out for help but is okay with me finding help for him.

Anything AT ALL will be SO appreciated to help him get by until I can advocate for him against the department and get his pension flowing again … every dollar counts and is so appreciated. We don’t know if/when they’re going to fix this and the bills are already piling up, I hope this is enough to make ends meet until I can get any sort of call back from these awful people to tell me when they will reinstate his pension.
