Help Andre, Angela, and Rocco After a Devastating Fire

On Friday, January 24th, Andre Phillips, his mom Angela Murray, and their dog Rocco lost everything in a horrible fire at the New Legacy Apartments in Baldwinsville, NY. Their apartment was on the top floor, near where the roof partially collapsed. It’s hard to imagine how terrifying it must have been, but Rocco, their dog, alerted Angela and other residents in time for them to escape. He’s a hero, but now they’re left with nothing.

Andre and Angela moved to Baldwinsville from Brooklyn in 2016. Andre graduated from Charles W. Baker High School, and Angela, a retired law enforcement officer, has spent her life helping others. Now they need our help.

They’ve lost everything and need support to cover essentials like housing, clothes, and food as they begin to rebuild their lives. Anything you can give—no matter the amount—will make a difference.
