This is my younger brother Andree. He is a wonderful husband, a loving father, a devoted son, and a true friend to so many people. He is deeply loved at work, at church, among all his friends, and especially in his home. He has worked hard to be the sole provider for his amazing wife, Arely, and their three beautiful children, ages six, three, and eight months old.
Our entire world as we knew it has now collapsed as Andree was recently diagnosed with a very aggressive cancer in the brain. From the day it was found to the day he had his first operation to remove what they could, was all in less than a week and was a good indicator of how quick and aggressive his treatments will be going forward.
As Andree and Arely are now faced with the most daunting battle of their lives, the reality of the financial impact that his medical needs and treatments will have, has set in, adding to the feelings of complete helplessness and uncertainty.
Andree went from caring for his family and raising his kids with Arely to now being forced to fight for his life and balance that with the need to ensure his little family will not be left in financial ruin, should healing and remission not occur.
