A Devastating Accident, a Long Road to Recovery
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
On 8 February 2025, Janet was in a serious car accident and had to be airlifted via helicopter from Bendigo to Melbourne for emergency treatment. She remains in intensive care, facing a long and challenging recovery from multiple fractures.
Amid this tragedy, their beloved dog, Moomoo, was also seriously injured in the crash and required emergency life-saving surgery. The vet bills have now reached an overwhelming $9,000—an added burden during an already heartbreaking time.
Mourning the Loss of Stretch
Tragically, Moomoo’s “sister in paws,” Stretch, did not survive the collision. Bill and Janet are not only coping with Janet’s recovery and financial strain, but also grieving the loss of their beloved furry companion.
How You Can Help
Right now, we want to rally around Bill and Janet to ease the financial pressure so they can focus on what truly matters: Janet’s and Moomoo’s continued healing and recovery. Our goal is to raise $9,000 to cover vet bills and give them one less worry during this incredibly difficult time.
If you can contribute—no matter the amount—it would mean the world to them. And if you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others who may be able to help.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. Your support will make a real difference in their lives.
