In March of 2014 our mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. The following April she had a mastectomy. Following surgery she underwent chemotherapy and other treatments. We believed she was cancer free.
After a bone scan and a biopsy, in December 2016, it was confirmed that her breast cancer had spread into a lymph node. At this time she will be starting treatments again.
Our mother is the definition of a fighter. She at no time has ever given up hope. She has never given up her faith and knows that Gods got this.
Mother is a strong, independent, and simply amazing woman. If we, as her children, could take away one burden for her it would be financial stress. Her body needs to heal. As selfish as it may sound we need her here with us as long as God allows it. Mother is single and works 2 jobs. One full time and one part time. She still struggles to make ends meet, BUT YOU WILL NEVER HEAR HER COMPLAIN! We are asking for donations that we can give to her to set aside for emergencies and the constant flow of medical bills. Having a bit to fall back on would easy her worry when the unexpected arise and let her body heal.
