Help Gnocchi at the Emergency Hospital

Hi my name is Christina and my dogs name is Gnocchi. Gnocchi is very loveable energetic little 5 years old boy who has been my rock all these years. Last night, I was walking with Gnocchi on a path next to a green park and 3 large dogs were playing hard, off leash. As Gnocchi is a bit scarred of big dogs, I picked him up. Suddenly, the dogs ran into me from behind and I hit the concrete head first then on my elbows. Gnocchi who was still in my arms, hit his neck somehow on the fall. Once, I was able to stand I realized Gnocchi wasn’t moving at all. I myself was in very bad pain and bleeding all over my arms. Some kind stranger was able to help me and drive me to the vet. Gnocchi was barely moving but still licking my finger with his tinny tongue out. From the first vet we were transferred to another Emergency hospital with a strong neurology department. We have been waiting in the emergency all night while I was icing my head and I was later diagnosed with a concussion. Gnocchi went through series of xrays and MRI this afternoon. They are keeping him for tonight and few more days possibly to monitor him. He will have to rehabilitate with a big neck bandage to stabilize him. Hopefully he can regain his mobility, otherwise we might have to operate him. His vet bills are now at $7000 and I do not have any insurance for him. I thought he was so healthy… Never would have I thought this would happen! If you can help Gnocchi and I we would be so grateful! Every dollar counts!
Thank you,
Gnocchi & Christina
