Help Honor Maria Del Rosario Mora Mendez

I am Christian Daniel Pimentel (Age: 19), son of Maria Del Rosario Mora Mendez (DOB: 9/29/1973). My mother is currently hospitalized in Central Valley Specialty Hospital, located in Modesto, CA. She suffered from a debilitating stroke as a result of an endocarditis infection which occurred back in August 11th, 2024. She was first hospitalized in Visalia, CA.

In October, she was transported to Modesto, where the nearest long-term care facility was located. Unfortunately, due to her diabetic complications and kidney disease. she was not a candidate for heart surgery. Thus, the endocarditis infection remained. As time passed, her health conditions worsened. She is currently on a life-supporting ventilator, and has necrosis because of blood clots throughout her body. Doctors predict further complications as time progresses. Sadly, as there is no solution to my mother's health problems, I would like to let her pass away peacefully without any further suffering.

We are looking to go into comfort care in mid-January, and would like to proceed with a funeral service and cremation of my mother, whose remains shall be also buried in my father's grave, so that both of my parents can remain together in the same burial plot.

Any help is greatly appreciated by me and my family.

The estimated costs for the funeral are about $10,000, which I shall break down:

$5,000 for mortuary expenses

$2,000 for the cremation and putting her remains along with my father's grave (Lemoore Cemetery)

$2,000 for a new gravestone which shall include the names of both of my parents

$1,000 for any miscellaneous expenses (clothing, decorations, certificates)
