Help Honor Penny's Memory with a Proper Farewell

This beautiful woman is my mother, Penny. She passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024. She was a mother of 3 and a grandmother of 5. She was warmhearted and soft spoken. She took care of small children for more than a decade. She was loved and adored by her family. The insurance company, Western & Southern Life out of Cincinnati, OH, that she had been paying into a $25,000 policy for 31 years is refusing to cover her funeral and burial costs. My mother was all ready to be funeralized and buried, but the funeral home called to say the policy would not be honored by the insurance company because my mom's premium had not been paid the prior month. She had until January 1st to pay, but because she died, they are refusing to honor the policy. I have taken care of my mother while she's been sick for 10 years. I am not a woman of means. I need help with final arrangements for this beautiful person who tried to ensure her children would not be saddled with this cost.
