A journey of PAIN from Doctor's negligence. Can you Help?

I'm helping JoJo raise money to pay for emergency surgery she needs to repair her sinus cavity and nasal passage that was destroyed by a botched procedure.

JoJo had always cherished her life, filled with vibrant experiences and joyous moments. Her days were spent bringing joy to others through her unending spirit of laughter and drive for adventure and exploration, until one fateful day changed everything.
Jo's journey began when she felt an unusual pain in her mouth. What she thought was a minor issue turned out to be a devastating diagnosis: oral cancer. The news shattered her world, and she was thrust into a whirlwind of medical consultations and procedures. The first major blow came with a partial glossectomy, a surgery that took away almost half of the underside of her tongue in an attempt to remove the tumors.
The surgery left JoJo struggling with speech and eating, but she was determined to fight. Her next step was to undergo a series of dental surgeries to restore her oral functionality. The first procedure involved the removal of all her teeth and the installation of bone grafts and eight dental implants. Jo was sent home to heal, enduring months of pain and discomfort with the hope that the implants would integrate successfully.
Six months later, she returned for the second surgery, only to find that two implants had failed to integrate. With a heavy heart, she underwent another procedure to replace the failing implants, extending her healing period by another year. Despite the setbacks, JoAnne remained hopeful, dreaming of the day she would finally have her permanent teeth.
However, this April, during her third surgery, Jo received the most devastating news yet. Due to poor installation of the implants and bone graph, All her implants had failed, the bone grafts had not taken, and her bone had deteriorated further. The surgeon expressed confusion over why the previous surgeon had not recognized the need for additional grafts and synthetic materials to build up her gums and protect the new bone growth.
In a desperate attempt to salvage the situation, the surgeon removed all implants and performed another extensive procedure, placing new bone grafts, gum grafts, and ten brand new implants. The surgery was grueling, lasting many hours, but Jo held onto the hope that this time, it would work. She was fitted with temporary teeth and sent home to heal once more.
Just three weeks later, Jo's worst fears came true. She began to feel pain in her upper arch while eating, and her teeth started to move as if they were not attached at all. The pain was excruciating, akin to being electrocuted every time she opened her mouth. Desperate for answers, Jo sought opinions from four different ENT surgeons and implant specialists.
Each specialist independently confirmed the tragic truth: all the implants in her upper arch were failing due to severe infections. The implants had been improperly placed and had penetrated her sinus cavities and had breached her nasal cavity as well as the ceiling of her palate, leading to a dire situation. Emergency surgery was the only option to remove all five implants, and the infection that had spread through her head and face. The procedure would also involve reconstructing her facial integrity, sinus cavities, and nasal cavities.
Jo's story is one of relentless pain and immense courage. Despite the numerous setbacks and the unimaginable suffering, she continued to fight for her health and her life. Her journey is a poignant reminder of the resilience of the human spirit in the face of overwhelming adversity. Through her trials, Jo learned the true meaning of perseverance and the importance of hope, even in the darkest of times.
JoJo now faces another daunting challenge: the financial burden of her extensive medical treatments. The costs of her surgeries, ongoing care, and necessary reconstructions are overwhelming. We are reaching out to you, our community, our friends, for support. Your generous donations can help Jo continue her fight and ensure she receives the care she desperately needs. Please consider contributing to JoJo's cause and sharing her story. Together, we can help her rebuild her life and find hope again.
