Help Lachlan achieve his golfing dreams

Hi, my name is Lachlan, I am 12 years old. During lockdown of covid in 2020 I hung up my motocross boots and started hitting a golf ball around my backyard, when lockdown lifted I was invited down to my local club by a family friend in May 2020 for a try and from then on my golfing abilities took off. In under 2 years I have gone from 3 holes to 18 holes and have won many local events. Last year for the first time I competed in the Australian junior age golf championship at Royal Pines in 11-12 year division and came 22nd out of 35 players which was a great achievement after 10 months of playing. This year in April I'm competing again and aiming for top 10 results. I have learnt a lot on my journey, travelling away to other competitions and coming away with great results. The hard work and dedication I have put into my golf shows as I have accomplished goals in such a short time where as for some it takes years.

These are just a few of my accomplishments.

With the Australian junior age division championship in April and the US Kids Australian Open in September, there is a lot of travelling involved to these and other major events to stay up to date with other competitors as we are located out of the major cities.

In this time of events we didn't feel right in approaching small businesses for sponsorship out of respect as some people are struggling in these uncertain times, instead we decided to set up this page to ask if you would like to support Lachlan with a donation to help fund him in costs like Tournament fees, equipment, travel expenditure without pressure.
