Help Rebuild Chimo Jalisco, México

Urgent help needed! Help rebuild the small remote fishing village of Chimo. Chimo is located in the Cabo Corrientes region of Jalisco, Mexico which has been destroyed and devastated and over the last couple days by tropical storm Narda. 

Our friends who live in Chimo are currently without water and electricity due to damage of tropical storm Narda. The people of Chimo are amazingly strong and resourceful, but they are in need of some help to rebuild their homes and businesses. Any donation amount will help these amazingly kind people rebuild and get back to a state of normalcy, and safe living conditions.

How donated funds will be used: Donations will be initially withdrawn and deposited into a personal bank account dedicated solely to this GoFundMe campaign.  After receiving reliable bids from local contractors, donated funds will then be dispersed to the chosen contractors for their work.  Donated funds will be used for supporting this community in rebuilding efforts such as clearing land, preparing foundations, repairing structures, and other community related efforts. We will also be purchasing building materials such as, blocks, rebar, and cement and delivering them to Chimo. We will post updates with pictures of receipts and our progress as our efforts progress and continue.
