Urgent Gaza War Evacuation: Help Save My Family.

Dear compassionate souls,

My name is Yasser Abu-Shawish, I am reaching out to you on behalf of my cousin Samy Abu-Shawish, and here’s the story in his own words:

My name is Samy Abu-Shawish a dedicated staff nurse at UNRWA, along with my wife Nariman, also a nurse, and our four precious children: Lulu, Emad, Mohammad, and Adam. We are reaching out to you in our most desperate hour, seeking your support to evacuate our family from the war-torn Gaza Strip.

Living in Gaza has become an unbearable nightmare. The escalating conflict has rendered our home unsafe and our future uncertain. Every day brings fear and uncertainty as we struggle to protect our children from the horrors of war. The cost of leaving Gaza is beyond our means, and without your help, our dreams of a safe and peaceful future for our family remain out of reach. As you may be aware, there are significant fees associated with individuals crossing from the Gaza Strip to Egypt, as this is the sole exit route available. These fees typically fall within the range of $5,000 to $10,000 for adults, with children being charged half of that amount.

I recently completed my master's studies in public health, specializing in management and health policies. Unfortunately, most of my savings went towards funding my high education, leaving us with limited resources to ensure a safe exit for our family from the Gaza Strip.
