Help Sonny compete in the 2025 state and national BMX series

Sonny is a 10-year-old boy from Canberra, he has been racing at Canberra BMX club since 2022. Riding BMX is his passion and those who know Sonny know he has always loved riding bikes.

2024 has been a rough year for Sonny, losing his dad recently in September. He has stayed committed to his BMX racing and as a result, he has been selected to join a racing development squad/team in 2025 (983 Racing )!! (Yay! Good job Sonny :D ) Needless to say, this is an incredible opportunity for Sonny, as an AWII (Athlete With Intellectual Impairment) - who aspires to represent Australia one day- to be able to train at interstate tracks, compete at several locations in the NSW/ACT State Series, the National Series, and the Championship Rounds in 2025.

However, with this, there is a catch. The financial commitment required for this endeavour is quite substantial, with costs for accommodation, fuel, and entry fees quickly adding up.

Sonny and his family are very eager to see him pursue his racing dreams, but they will need significant support from the community to make this a reality, so please, if you are able to make a donation of any amount, know that it is going directly to making a little boys dream become reality - if you aren't, please share the fundraiser and make sure you cheer for Sonny when he is racing!
