My mom, Linda, has been fighting stage 4 uterine cancer for almost 3 years now. It started off as stage 1b and initially responded well to chemotherapy, however after a year it returned and has now progressed to stage 4 cancer. Though my mom is starting her third round of chemotherapy, she is growing weaker by the day.

Linda had taught music for 43 years, touching the lives of many students and even continued to teach throughout most of her cancer journey. Unfortunately, due to the continued development of cancer, she has had to retire this year despise her wishes. Due to her retiring, my Father and I have been struggling to afford both the medical and various household bills while we give her full-time support and care.

This has been very difficult on all of us as we want to be able give her the best care we can for as long as possible and so she doesn’t have to worry. While we are still fighting and trying to hold out hope, the end is likely fast coming at this rate. It is for that reason I have decided to open this funding page. All support will go towards continued and future medical treatments to help her fight this off this terrible disease with greater peace of mind.
