Help support baby Kason during his hospital stay

Friends and Family of Kason Elkins, we need your help to support Kole and Kailee as they navigate through this challenging time! Baby Kason developed a low grade fever with other odd symptoms on the 4th of March. After a couple visits with the local pediatricians they decided it was best to drive him down to Valley Childrens in Madera to try to get to the bottom of his illness. Since his stay at Valley Children’s , he has been diagnosed with Kawasaki’s Disease. It has been a series of ups and downs, with IV steroids, echocardiograms and multiple improvements followed by major setbacks. Today brought news of his biggest obstacle yet, in which his white blood cell count and inflammatory markers were high. They also received news that he has developed fluid around his heart and 3 aneurysms in his coronary arteries. Baby Kason is being transferred by air to San Diego to see a Kawasaki Disease specialist. Mom and Dad will join him there as soon as they can drive there, as they are not allowed to fly with him. Kole and Kailee are both a tremendous part of our community and they need our help and prayers for their baby boy. They both are known for their countless hours of coaching the kids of our community with high school football/basketball and cheer, and now we need to give them our support! Medical, travel and lodging expenses can become insurmountable while away from home! Any amount you’re willing to donate helps and is a blessing to their new family.
