Help the Hart and Craig Family Recover

As a child born and raised in Altadena, the memories, experiences and adventures date back to 34 years ago (for me); including collectibles, photos, love shared, milestones achieved, friendships, school days and more. Many of which were on the porch of that blue house, “Toots and Grandpa’s house”. My grandma purchased this home 45 years ago, the youngest of her family traveled from Tennessee to settle here in Altadena, where young black families were welcomed and made to feel safe to raise their children and thrive. All of that has been reduced to ashes on 1/7/25. My grandma left the house with nothing but the shirt on her back and her cat. A day we will always remember.
