Help Tom Kersting from The Planet Sausalito move

Tom Kersting has helped run the kids program called The Planet in Sausalito for nearly30 years. Covid forced him to close down since March 2020 and now he has lost his lease and is forced to move. His next living situation is tenuous at best and he needs to rent a truck to move all his belongings. He has not had an income since March 2020 and has no one who is able to help him.  If anyone has a room to rent in Marin, please contact me.

The Planet has been an integral part of Sausalito and Mill Valley.  Tom has taught many kids woodworking, sewing, Lego building and free play.  Hopefully many of you will acknowledge Tom’s ability to nurture creative independence through his patient yet free wheeling style as evidenced through the many contraptions and toys built by kids at the planet. Given that the next chapter for Tom is uncertain, I encourage you to donate as you see fit to help set him up for whatever comes next.
