Honoring Ozzie: Help Oregon Dog Rescue Save Lives
Fiscaal aftrekbaar
Ozzie saved my life. His adoption from Oregon Dog Rescue in Fall 2020 introduced me to my best friend, who helped activate my life during a time I was recovering from autoimmune complications. Since then, Ozzie has been there for every adventure, and been my most reliable and consistent friend during hard times.
Ozzie passed away July 10th from what his vet believes is Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS). He leaves a massive hole in my heart that I want to try to fill by remembering and honoring him as best I can. My goal for this fundraiser is to generate additional funding for Oregon Dog Rescue, the non-profit group that brought Ozzie into my life.
Oregon Dog Rescue is involved in the rescue of approximately 2,000 dogs every year. They receive no government funding, and rely solely on adoption fees and public donations to save the lives of our four-legged friends. Since 2007 ODR has saved 16,360 dogs, introducing them to new families and forever-homes.
Ozzie was so incredibly happy to find his new home in 2020. He didn't know how much time he had on this earth, and he lived every day as fully as he could. He had the same excitement for everyone he met and every adventure he had. Ozzie would love if you could consider contributing to help his friends at Oregon Dog Rescue continue to build on the amazing foundation they have created. Travel expenses, facility updates, and dog supplies are much needed to make sure they are able to continue saving amazing dogs like Ozzie.
Please consider contributing if you are able. Leave a 'good boy' for Ozzie, and help me honor him in the best ways I know how.
Thank you
