Support Osvaldo and Eric in Honoring Rosa's Legacy

In the early hours of Thursday, May 30th, tragedy struck my family. My beloved mother, Rosa Ojeda, was taken from us. She was not just a mother; she was the epitome of love and support, devoted to her children beyond measure. Her infectious smile lit up every room she entered, and her kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.
That fateful morning, as the sun rose, my mother was on her way to work, followed by my father. When I woke up that morning, I noticed my father wasn't sleeping in his bed, and his car was missing from our driveway. My mother had recently moved out due to difficulties in their marriage, in which she would stay at my aunt's house. Despite my father continuously begging for her return, my mother stood firm in her decision. However, his frustration and anger escalated to a senseless act of violence, robbing me of the one person who meant everything to me.
Now, at just 18 years old, I find myself navigating the aftermath of this tragedy alone. My older brother, Eric Alejo, 20, is serving in the military, unable to be by my side during this devastating time. I am left to grapple with the unimaginable loss of my mother, who single-handedly raised me with unwavering love and dedication.
In honor of my mother's memory, I have created this GoFundMe fundraiser. The funds raised will be used to cover the expenses associated with her funeral arrangements. I am determined to provide her with a dignified and respectful farewell, a final tribute befitting the extraordinary woman she was.
As I stand on the precipice of adulthood, I carry with me the aspirations of pursuing higher education. However, the financial burden of arranging my mother's funeral weighs heavily on me. Your generosity and support will not only help alleviate this financial strain but will also enable me to fulfill my mother's dream of seeing me succeed in college.
Please, if you find it within your heart, consider making a donation to this fundraiser. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference in honoring my mother's legacy and easing the burden on our family during this difficult time. Thank you for your kindness and compassion.
