Covid19 Face Shield Fundraiser for Nurses/Doctors

Update 5/5/2020 We have produced and distributed over 15,000 face shields to local hospitals and doctor's offices. We have also teamed up with Operation Face Shield (OFS) in Ann Arbor which is a group of people that have 3D printers and are now using these printers to make PPE for those in need. As the need for face shields started to decline in our area we were able to donate components to OFS to keep their efforts alive. We donated countless clear transparency sheets, elastic spools, and Petg plastic (what the 3D printers use). In total we sent over $25,000 worth of supplies to OFS. Even greater than that we were able to donate 40 3D printers to the group which have been moved to a new facility in Ann Arbor where they are being utilized to create respirator components. As the face shield demand started to decrease we were informed about other important items of PPE that were desperately needed. We have used the remaining donated funds to purchase over 20,000 face masks and 10,000 medical gowns. These items will also be distributed to local hospitals for the brave doctors and nurses that are still putting their lives at risk for us all. We would again like to thank everyone who has so generously donated to help keep the medical community safe. We also want to thank everyone who helped by volunteering their time and energy to helping the assembly and distribution process.
