Rally Behind Ron O’Hara

Family and friends of Ron O’Hara need your financial help, love, prayers, and support.  Ron O’Hara is continuing his fight against a rare form of small cell carcinoma, which has spread throughout his organs.  He and his family have been fighting cancer for 8 years and seemed to have been cured.  Then last year, he was diagnosed with this cancer, rapidly spreading in his kidneys and other organs.  Ron has attempted to fight this cancer using current US standards of practice (surgery, chemo, immunotherapy, etc.) to only see his cancer increasing in speed and lethality.  The doctors have determined his cancer is terminal and have advised him to “get his affairs in order”.   Ron and Carrie have taken this fight to Mexico where Ron has received very expensive treatment for 3 weeks.  The treatments appear to have done some good, but he needs to return where he will spend another 8+ weeks.  Ron has some tough weeks ahead of him.  These treatments are very expensive. They are in the process of scraping money together to pay for them, but it is such a burden.   With the exception of a miracle from God, this is Ron’s only course of action. 

Friends of Ron and Carrie have started this “gofundme” because we love them and want to help minimize the stress and burden of this fight.  We are asking for your donations to assist with medical bills, travel expenses, and everyday needs beyond the coverage of his medical insurance.

Ron is a husband, a father, a USAF veteran, and a friend to many. Let’s join together and support him and his family so they can focus on each other and Ron’s health. He and his family are extremely thankful for all the love, prayers, and support they continue to receive.
