In loving memory of Sam ‘Sammo’ Falvey

On 14 March 2025, we tragically lost our great mate and absolute legend, Sam ‘Sammo’ Falvey.

Beloved son of Sue and Geoff, brother to Sarah, Michael, and Sophie, Uncle to Olive, and devoted partner to Ania.

If you had the privilege of knowing Sam, you’d know his quick wit, cheeky smile, and love for a bit of banter. He was a die-hard sports fan, a loving and fiercely loyal mate, and, above all, deeply devoted to his long term life partner and best mate Ania—(and, of course, good old Madge).

His sudden passing has left an unimaginable void, sending shockwaves through everyone who loved him, both here in Australia and back home in Aotearoa.

This GoFundMe has been created to support Ania and to help ease financial pressures, giving her the time and space to grieve without added stress. Any contribution, big or small, will help honour Sam’s memory and support the person he loved most.
