In Memory of Ibis Alex Baez
Donation protected
My name is Bill and I'm writing this in hopes to raise enough money to lay my best friend to rest. I still can't believe I'd be writing something like this for one of my best friends.
Saturday around 5pm, our loved ones received the worst news, that our friend/son/brother was murdered by a reckless truck driver who thought road rage was the final answer to my friend's life. Ibis Alex Baez just turned 29 and was unfortunately killed on impact on his motorcycle. And now the family is in need of our help. Ibis was a great human being with a peaceful soul, not one violent part in his body, and never harmed anyone. For his life to be cut short doing what he loved is unexplainable. He just bought that motorcycle and was so invested in owning his own boat one day. Words can't explain the hurt that is left behind from his loss. He worked fixing air-conditioning systems in Long Island, doing what he loved, making sure those living in that county were supplied with working units and homes. He loved fishing with such passion it was hard to keep up, always on some mission to check off his to-do list in life goals. His ambitious ways were so inspiring you had to keep up or be left behind. Nothing stopped this young man from doing what needed to be done. The list can go on forever and hopefully this hurting will ease in time.
I appreciate everyone, all friends, family, fishing, skating, and bike community for your support and caring words.
Service arrangements have not been made yet and will keep everyone updated once the info is given out.
