In memory of Michael Brown, lost at sea: help his family.
Donation protected
We want to thank those of you who have generously donated to the family of Michael Brown in their time of loss. We have reached our initial goal of $5000 for the memorial and will continue to receive donations in the coming days. The Memorial is scheduled for 1 pm Monday Dec. 16, 2024, at Muldoon Community Assembly, 7041 Debarr Rd in Anchorage, AK.
We are aware of the tragic loss of the crew of the fishing vessel Wind Walker, which capsized in Icy Strait on December 1, 2024. We grieve the loss and stand in support of those families so deeply affected by this tragedy. It brings it home when it’s someone close to you.
Michael Brown was one of those fishermen.
Michael was the son of Warren and Trish Brown, PA-C, and the brother of Haven.
I’ve known Michael from the day he was born. Trish worked with us at Cornerstone Clinic, and he spent a good part of his first six months with us at the clinic when his mother was working. One can only imagine the pain and sorrow resulting from this kind of traumatic event. Our hearts go out to each one affected by this.
We started this fundraiser in memory of Michael Brown, and to assist the Brown family with unexpected expenses of memorial services and coming to terms with this loss. Your kind consideration is deeply appreciated.
