Jack runs for Oliver

Hello, my name is Jack. I am overweight, with weak ankles, a terrible diet and at the end of March I am going to run as many 5km loops as I can in 8 hours.
The reason I’m doing this is for an incredible young lad named Oliver Shilton a fellow lover of Notts County. Unfortunately Ollie has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma- a rare primary bone cancer.
Before receiving treatment Ollie was an incredible sportsman who was hugely talented. Cancer is cruel and following round one of treatment Ollie is currently wheelchair bound. A child who’s weekend used to consist of football, rugby, swimming and playing with his younger brother Joey is now hugely limited and involves a lot of time in hospital.
Although receiving incredible news late last year that the treatment had worked, unfortunately it has come back and he and his family are throwing everything they can at this.
So here I am attempting to run all I can for 8 hours. The funds I raise will go toward Ollie, his family and the children’s ward at the QMC Nottingham, ward E39. Anything to make life easier for Ollie, his family and other kids on his ward is worth every penny.
