James L. Zimmerman, age 62, of Franklin, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Thursday January 4, 2024, at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on November 17, 1961, son of the late Betty A. (Ware) and Earl M. Zimmerman. He was employed by Sonoco Babyfood in Fairfield with 17 years of service. James is survived by his son, Stephen “Steve” Zimmerman; 3 sisters, Carol Zimmerman, Virginia “Jenny” Wright, and Pamella “Pam” LaPorta; numerous nieces and nephews; his girlfriend, Debbie Glover; and his beloved goldendoodle, Tucker. Services will be Private. Dalton Funeral Home, Germantown, serving the family.
