Jessika's Breast Cancer Battle

Adrian and Jessika have been together since 2008, the high school sweethearts went on to get married in 2017, after nine years of being together! In 2020 they welcomed a like boy Alonzo Jay. Shortly after Jessika was preparing for her first deployment with the 210th Red Horse Squadron. TSgt Jauriqui currently serves in the New Mexico Air National Gaurd as an Engineering Technician. However, in the first few months of deployment she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. This devastating news got her sent back home quickly where she is currently undergoing a dedicated 20 weeks of chemotherapy.

The journey does not stop there through, the breast cancer is both lobular and ductal carcinoma and will require a long road to recovery including multiple surgeries, radiation therapy, and hormone therapy.

The Jauriqui’s are beyond grateful for the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, and their community.
