Luca’s charge across the Nullarbor

Gday Legends,

I’m excited to share that I’m aiming to raise $10,000 for the ongoing care of my cousin Ashleigh's young son, Luca Salmon.

Luca was born premature in 2023 with Charge Syndrome, which is a rare genetic condition that affects numerous parts of the body. He has already endured eight surgeries, including heart, brain and airway surgery, in his first 16 months of life.

He will require specialist medical care and equipment for the rest of his life and this will no doubt incur significant costs as he gets older.

In order to help with these costs I am setting off on a six-week cycling adventure from Perth, starting on Monday 21 April with the objective of reaching Adelaide. If time permits, I hope to continue on to Hobart.
