Hello All,
    My name is Justin Yoder. I have the incredible opportunity to be a part of the Leadership Institute Residency Program at Christ Church of the Valley (CCV) in Peoria, Arizona. This ten month program trains church leaders for longevity. I will be enrolled in seven general leadership competencies (Events & Project Management, First Impressions, Leadership Practices 500 & 600, Life of Christ, Staff Development, and Volunteer Management). An individualized field emphasis is selected for the remaining three competencies. The individual areas for field emphasis are: Children & Family, Church Administration, Multi-sites, Inter-Cultural Studies, Pastoral, Special Needs, Sports, Youth, and Worship/Production. Upon completion, I will have the tools necessary to be a well-equipped leader who is prepared for a lifetime of ministry service.

    The total cost for this year long program will be about $15,000. This includes the cost of the Residency Program, room and board, books and resources, as well as a 10 day trip to the Holy Lands in Israel as we walk through the life of Christ. This cost will also go toward helping to pay for monthly cost such as car insurance, gas, utilities, cell phone, etc.

   I am very excited to start this journey at CCV and have the opportunity to learn from some of the best ministry leaders in the country. 85% of all trained pastors leave the ministry field within the first 5 years of ministry. CCV is helping to change that statistic with the Leadership Institute, and I am blessed to have the opportunity to grow in my faith and learn from this church. God has opened the door and I can’t wait to begin this incredible experience.
