Linda Pfershy’s Memorial Fund

Linda had a valve replacement in 2013 which went fabulous but resulted in her vocal chords being paralyzed. She learned to live with that and then was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Well she told cancer to kiss her ta-tas by having a double mastectomy.  In time, she rang the bell at the chemo infusion center and jumped back into life. Too soon after, they found a tumor in her brain, and she started a new round of chemo which created more issues.  The doctors offered her a brand new injection treatment that she started, and it was shrinking the tumor.  We thought finally she's on her way to a break! Last Sunday, she could not catch her breath and Glen took her to the ER.  On Tuesday, they found blockage in her replaced valve.  Thursday there was no improvement so the medical staff sedated her to put her on a ventilator,  and her heart stopped.  They went through several attempts at resuscitation, but in the end, her poor heart couldn’t fight anymore. Linda Newton Pfershy passed away during a pandemic, a very scary and financially trying time already. Her husband, Glen, was alone with the love of his life when she passed. Glen has not been paid for time off in years due to being his wife’s rock throughout every one of her battles. There is a mortgage, medical bills and no money set aside for a funeral and burial plot. The family is asking for prayers, support, and funds to give the light of their lives the funeral and goodbye that she deserves. Any help is appreciated.
