Living Room Live -- #AlohaTogether

Wilson Care Group has been supported by first responders for many years while caring for patients in their homes and at their senior living facility. The company, Be Well Hawaii,  was started to purchase and distribute PPE during the pandemic crisis and is a subsidiary of Wilson Homecare, a Hawaii state licensed home healthcare agency.

Be Well Hawaii will be accepting the donations to buy PPE for the state emergency management agency that is responsible for distributing supplies to all firefighters, police, and ambulance personnel.  PPE donations will also equitably be given to 8 main hospital systems  that include:

- Adventist Health Castle 
- Hawaii Pacific Health 
- Kaiser Permanente Hawaii 
- Kuakini Medical Center 
- Leahi Hospital 
- St Francis Medical Healthcare Systems of Hawaii 
- The Queens Medical Center 
- Wahiawa General Hospital 


The preferred PPE for each entity will be donated and may include hand sanitizer, surgical masks, N95 masks, KN95 masks, face shields, eye protection, infrared thermometers, pulse oximeters, and isolation gowns.   Countless firefighters have been called to help kupuna when they’ve fallen and needed a hand.  They’ve relied on the paramedics for emergencies.  The police have supported patients, families, and staff with a variety of issues and provided the security on which our community depends.  And yes, many nurses and doctors have cared for patients at hospitals and healthcare facilities throughout our islands.

This pandemic has brought into sharper focus their courage, strength, and tireless dedication.  Please join Wilson in this unique opportunity to thank and support our first responder heroes in their time of need.  This initiative is called Mission First Responders.  The goal is to raise money to provide necessary personal protective equipment for as many first responders as possible.  Wilson has donated several thousand N95 masks, but we need the community’s help in continuing to provide masks to the frontline heroes. 

Shelley Wilson, founder & president of Wilson Care Group & Be Well Hawaii, had the vision of bringing an abundant supply of personal protective equipment to Hawaii.  Many places around the world and indeed throughout the mainland have been in short supply and gone without this vital lifesaving necessity.  Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, N95 masks and gloves were stolen from Wilson’s stockpile that had been building since January.  Undefeated, Shelley began purchasing even more PPE in anticipation of the community’s needs.  Please help Wilson to continue to supply our firefighters, police officers, paramedics, and healthcare heroes so they can be safe while caring for our community.

Now is our time to give back and demonstrate our appreciation through Mission First Responders!  Our unsung heroes need us to support them.  100% of the funds raised will be dedicated to the purchase of N95 masks.

Entertainers from Hawaii will come together for a broadcast concert series in support of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

100% of the money raised will go toward funding protective equipment for health-care professionals.

Hosted by KITV4’s “Good Morning Hawaii” anchor Maleko McDonnell, and iHeartMedia’s Flash host of Star 101.9’s “Flash Drive.” This special simulcast event broadcast on KITV4, KSSK-FM, Island 98.5-FM, and LIVE streamed.

This fundraiser will be used to directly purchase wholesale Personal Protective Equipment which will then be distributed to local Hawaii hospitals and first responder units.
