Lorraine K. Pulmonary Fibrosis Care
Donation protected
My mother, Lorraine Kulynycz, was recently diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis which is a progressive disease which causes scarring and stiffening of the lungs making breathing harder and harder. The disease has progressed rapidly. In a just a few months, she has gone from an unrestricted life to fully dependent on oxygen 24/7 and can even walk a few steps without it. A lung transplant is the only treatment option available for even a chance at long-term survival but unfortunately, she has been denied based on her age and health screening. My parents are both retired and living meagerly. We asking for help with her medical supplies and final care expenses. I had no idea what a grim disease pulmonary fibrosis is but treatment options are incredible limited. Our goal is to make her comfortable so they make enjoy our last days together, however many there may be.
