Mazurek family memorial funds

We recently suffered a devastating loss to our family, our mother Gabriela Mazurek passed away. She was in the hospital a total of 17 days before losing her battle with Covid-19. We are raising money to fund her memorial and any other unexpected expenses. She was a strong, selfless woman who cared for others whole heartedly and touched the lives of many.

Gabriela leaves behind her 4 children, the youngest of which is 17 years old along with 1 granddaughter and 4 other kids that were in her care as a foster parent/guardian. She dedicated all her time to her children as well as fostering kids for many years. Making everyone feel like a part of her family was of utmost importance to her, even keeping in contact with various families after they were placed back with their families.  She was selfless and never stopped caring, always putting others needs before hers.  We are all devastated  by this great loss and hope to give Gabriela the memorial she deserves.   Gabriela was very proud of her children. Her oldest daughter has been a Respiratory Therapist for over 12 years, and in the recent months been working hard taking care of covid patients. One of her outlets and ways of coping recently was sharing stories with her mom. When Gabriela was admitted to the hospital she was lucky enough to be at the hospital her daughter worked at, where she was able to peek in on her in her off time. The second eldest daughter was her first child that entered the service, joining the Army at just under 17 years old. After her service in the army she also attended Respiratory school and recently became an Esthetician. Gabriela’s son joined the Air Force at 19 years old and has been active duty for almost 9 years with 4 deployments, working on various aircrafts throughout his career. She was a proud military mom, happy of all of her sons accomplishments in the Air Force. Gabriela’s youngest daughter is 17 years old and is a senior in high school. She is a great student who excels in her academics and was always a great help to her mother. After high school she has been accepted to attend a university to obtain her bachelor’s in Nursing. Gabriela is leaving behind one granddaughter who is 15 years old. Her granddaughter always leaned on her grandma for support and also helped her with many home projects. Gabriela loved watching her at cheer competitions and always encouraged her to do her best in everything she did.
