Sheldon Hill Strong

At the beginning of this year, Sheldon was diagnosed with Esophagus stricture (closing of the esophagus) as a result he began to loss a tremendous amount of weight. Difficult to swallow and eat. Sheldon underwent many surgical dilation to correct the problem. On May 14, 2020 during an esophagus stricter procedure a polyp was found in his stomach. Unfortunately, it was tested and determined to be cancerous on May 22, 2020. He was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer (in his stomach)and his new journey began. It’s not the news that Sheldon and his mom (Sharita) wanted to hear. But, it has become the journey to victory for him, his dad (Parrish) and his sister (Erian) and Mom( Sharita). As some may know Sheldon resides in Atlanta, Ga. and his mom resides in Columbus, Oh. She has not left his side since the news was delivered. His dad resides in Detroit, MI. Sheldon treatments started immediately the Tuesday after the news was delivered. Unexpected cost of treatments, co-pays, meds, transporting to and from hospital, bills, travel, hotel stay, rental car, everyday essentials are beginning to be overbearing. As we all know Sharita is always willing to assist anyone even if it means giving up her last. With that being said, Sheldon will be off work for quite some time and so will his mom to care for him.
